Introducing Photato

15th August 2008

Welcome to the armchairware.com blog. I’m going to be initially using the blog to post announcements about the development of Photato, the inaugural product from armchairware. Photato is a photo viewing add-in for Windows Vista Media Center built using Facebook Platform. It’s designed to give you access to all your Facebook photos through your TV using your Media Center remote - no more crowding around your laptop screen in the study, simply enjoy your photos with your friends and family on the big screen.

Here are a few screen shots from an early version of the product.

Main menu

Choose to view your friends’ albums, tagged photos of your friends, your own albums and tagged photos of you.

Album browser

Browse through the cover photos of your friends’ albums or your own albums and choose one to view in detail.

Move through a stack of photos from an album, one after another.

Hopefully these have given you some idea of what the product is all about. I’ll be posting details of new features and screen shots over the coming weeks, so please come back soon.

Martin.
